Volunteer Services

At the Winnipeg MFRC, volunteers play a very important role in the success of all our programs. From special events to child care to workshop facilitators to administrative support, volunteers are the heart of everything we do at the MFRC Volunteers share their time and talents with us, and find the rewards and opportunities plentiful.

As a volunteer, you can lean new skills, meet new people, be part of a great team and make new friends, explore a new career, make a difference and have fun! You will get work experience, on the job training, flexible hours, interesting workshops, recognition, and a fun environment!

Youth volunteers are also welcome, and play an active role in many of our programs. Some of these include the summer youth camps “Kidventures” and the Youth Advisory Council. This council provides youth people (aged 12 and older) with the chance to work on special events for the youth of our community. This is a great opportunity to gain life and work experience skills.

All volunteers are screened, trained and provided with an orientation session.
