Employment and Education Assistance
The MFRC Career Counselor offers a variety of individual and group activities to assist CF family members in achieving their career and educational goals. The Employment and Education Service provides support to individuals and groups by writing/updating resumes, developing a job search and honing interviewing skills. In addition, the MFRC Career Counsellor refers to relevant community programs, services, agencies, colleges, schools, etc. Help for military families might also include establishing links with local/national employers to facilitate mutually beneficial employment options or individually to assist with Employment Insurance issues.

- Civilian spouses and youth have access to information about options for training and education.
- Civilian spouses and youth have access to information about employment resources available in the community.
- Civilian spouses and youth have access to job search and career development assistance.
- Families with children have access to information about local schools when posted to a new community.
- Civilian spouses and youth make successful career/education transitions.
- Local employers are aware of the benefits of employing civilian spouses.
